Community Manager

Cutify is looking for a Community Manager who is a passionate, driven and a self-starter to manage our online community of websites and social media pages. If you’re a team player who wants to help us continue to grow, we’d love to hear from you.

Cutify online community of websites serves to grow and move into other global markets. Helping participants resolve support issues, answer how-to questions, providing relevant content and building online relationships is what you’ll excel at.  You’ll expand participant engagement and strategize ways to drive participation as well as encourage participants to return.

You will run all day-to-day operations of the websites and contribute to social media, and drive projects to increase two-way engagement.

Core Responsibilities
  • Engage with participants daily via online channels and social media
  • Resolve issues, ensure questions get answered in a timely manner & escalate if necessary
  • Publish competition news via online channels and social media
  • Build content and educate participants to encourage and increase participation
  • Oversee all the administration aspects of the websites
  • Gather, summarize and distribute monthly prizes
  • Gather, summarize and share participant feedback
  • Working with management to address, resolve and communicate any issues related to the features and functionality of the websites

  • Matric
  • 2yrs+ experience in a similar role
  • 3yrs+ computer experience (Excel / Word etc.)
  • 5yrs+ social media experience
  • English 1st language
Advantageous Skills: negotiable
  • Degree and/or Diploma in Business, Marketing or Social Media
  • Experience using online tools such as Mailchimp / Survey Monkey / Teamwork / Upstream
  • Experience using WordPress or similar
  • Experience within customer service
  • Other languages

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:00. Employment will be offered as a 12 month fixed term contract which will be renewed based on performance. The salary offered is entirely based on experience and is between R8,000 – R10,500 per month. Other incentives / benefits will be discussed during the recruitment process.
